QA Technician

Background

• Works under general supervision of the Quality Assurance Manager in a c-GMP regulated manufacturing environment operating under Q7A standards
• Employees in positions at this level perform tasks and duties associated with implementation of quality assurance standards set by the organization and its customers as well as in compliance

Tasks

• Conduct daily physical inspection procedures of all outgoing product shipments to ensure customer shipments and all associated paperwork (such as COA, BOL, invoice, labels) in full compliance with organizational, customer and regulatory requirements
• Manage distribution of sales samples and associated paperwork
• Generate finished goods product labels; manage label distribution and regulation compliance
• Support organization QA efforts in regulatory documentation development
• Maintain and enhance site safety

Specifications

• S. or GED. An associate's degree in Chemistry or related technical field may be substituted for two (2) years of Experience listed below
• Three (3) years of experience in shipping/receiving and quality assurance in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of:
  • c-GMP regulations (Basic level)
  • Basic Mathematics
  • MS Office software package (Broad level)
• Skill in:
  • Data Processing with attention to detail and documentation
  • Working effectively and efficiently on multiple projects at once
  • Working effectively in a team environment
  • Responding to rapidly changing demands
• Ability to:
  • Communicate effectively, orally and in writing
  • Review, compile and verify technical data and documents
  • Identify, gather, process and record data accurately
  • Follow customer, organizational and regulatory standards
