Packaging Operator-Weekend Warrior AM Shift (6:30am - 7:00pm)

Position: Full time.

As a Packaging Operator at Jost Chemical, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient packaging of our high-quality products that are used in the pharmaceutical, biotech, nutritional, food and beverage, and personal care industries. Responsibilities:

• Operate state-of-the-art packaging equipment, including labelers, fillers, and sealers
• Ensure that all products are properly packaged and labeled according to customer specifications
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet our rigorous quality standards
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment
• Work with a team of passionate individuals who are dedicated to excellence

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Some experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and instructions
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain focus for extended periods of time
• Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a desire to make a difference in the world

Ability to:

• Work in extreme cold and hot (120 F) environment
• Comprehend oral and written English instruction
• Lift 55 pounds and drive fork truck in safe and efficient manner
• Follow established policies and procedures
• Operate and maintain chemical processing equipment
• Exhibit manual dexterity, perceptual speed and extent flexibility
• Adopt to rapidly changing priorities based on business needs
• Pass pre-employment physical with drug screen and physical capabilities test
