Maintenance Engineer

Position: Full time

The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment and facilities to ensure they are in optimal working condition. The position does not require an engineering degree, but a degree in engineering is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify any issues or potential problems.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and prolong the life of equipment and facilities.
  • Repair and maintain equipment and facilities, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
  • Coordinate with other departments and outside vendors to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including parts used and labor costs.
  • Continuously improve maintenance processes, procedures and equipment to ensure optimal performance and reduce costs.

Qualifications:

  • 15 years of relevant experience in maintenance, repair, or engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • A degree in engineering is preferred but not required.
  • Proficient in the use of maintenance software and tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
