Jost Chemical, www.jostchemical.com, is looking for a Director of Quality and Regulatory to coordinate all aspects of quality in a cGMP regulated manufacturing site operating under Q7A standards in St. Louis, as well as a FSSC 22000 certified plant in Poland. Jost Chemical is a global leader in the manufacture of high purity specialty chemicals for the nutritional and pharmaceutical markets. This role requires an exemplary leader to drive our overall quality strategy ensuring the company meets/exceeds customer expectations and regulatory compliance. Jost tests all products in-house with state-of-the-art equipment, striving to offer the purest products in the marketplace.

The Director of Quality is a member of the Management Team reporting directly to the CEO. You will develop, analyze, and drive programs to ensure maximum production quality, compliance to Quality Management System and compliance with cGMP requirements. You will have complete control over quality direction, staffing/leadership needs, performance management/coaching, and compensation. Will need to interface with customers, manage audits, manage quality issues and complaints.

The Director of Quality position is a leadership role.

Must be detail-oriented, extraordinarily conscientious, and highly ethical.

Must be long-term planner with industry knowledge and foresight.

Must be known for quality, consistency, and excellence.

Must have uncompromising standards and know when to be unbending.

Must take a methodical and determined approach to projects.

The Director of Quality will need:

A demonstrated track record of progressive success and growth

An entrepreneurial mindset.

M.S. Chemistry or related technical field.

10 + years of quality experience, including successful experience as a mid-level quality manager. A big emphasis in having experience in our industry.
