Background
- Works under general supervision to perform cleaning and maintenance of corporate aquariums, in addition to installing new and moving existing fish tanks.
Tasks
- Cleans and maintains fish aquariums, including water testing, medicating tanks, filling water bottles, feeding fish, acclimating new fish and removing dead fish
- Coordinates and performs tasks involved with aquarium moves, new installations, disassembly of aquariums, minor equipment repair and replacement
- Completes miscellaneous tasks to meet customer needs
Specifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Fish enthusiast, experience with aquarium maintenance required
Knowledge of:
o Fresh water aquatic maintenance and aquarium set-up
Skill in:
o Time management
o Customer service
Ability to:
o Learn and use proper cleaning techniques
o Lift 55 pounds, move heavier items
o Ability to pass pre-employment urine drug test and monthly random checks
FLSA: Non-exempt
