The Talent Acquisition Specialist oversees and leads Jost Company's talent acquisition process from job inception to offer.

Talent Acquisition Specialist

Position: Full time


Background

  • Works under general direction of the President
  • Works closely with Department Leads and HR Staff to seek out, interview and screen applicants to fill existing and future job openings and promote career opportunities with the organization

Tasks

  • Develops and implements creative and diverse sourcing strategies to meet current talent search challenges
  • Builds relationships with schools, and organizations to help recruit top talent for all positions
  • Manages, maintains, and supports current recruiting processes and tools to ensure best practices and consistency
  • Creates or modifies job descriptions to ensure accurate postings
  • Ensures a positive candidate experience through thorough communication and timely feedback, as well as interviewer preparedness and effective interview formats
  • Gathers and reviews interview feedback from interviewers and makes recommendations on the most qualified candidates
  • Administers appropriate standardized tests and recommend qualified candidates to respective departments for more detailed assessment
  • Prepares offer recommendations using market data, candidate experience, and internal equity comparisons
  • Completes and issues written offers in conjunction with HR Manager
  • Maintains applicant tracking system to ensure accuracy as needed for reporting requirements regarding the hiring process

Specifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, or related field
  • 3-5 years of successful recruitment experience
  • High energy, sound business judgement and customer service focus
  • Demonstrated capabilities in LinkedIn Recruiter, applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools
