Quality Assurance Specialist I

Position: Full time

Quality Assurance Specialist I

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry preferred, Biochemistry or Biology acceptable

Knowledge & Experience Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of GMP and FDA expectations
  • Strong technical writing skills and understanding of complex processes and technical equipment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting productivity demands

Primary Responsibilities

  • Research and complete yearly reports for Annual Product Quality Reviews, Elemental Impurities, etc.
  • Standard Operating Procedure authoring and updating as needed
  • Risk Assessments, Impact Assessments authoring and updating as needed
  • Comfortable speaking to groups for GMP upon-hire and quarterly GMP training
  • Familiar and able to author IQ/OQ/PQ Validations for equipment, processes and more
  • Knowledgeable and able to complete customer questionnaires
  • Monitor/Maintain Raw Material Supplier Audits
  • Work with current and incoming electronic data gathering/document storage
  • Comfortable working and interacting with other Jost departments
  • Investigate and understand equipment and processes in a production environment
  • Flexible in daily operations, assist in other QA functions as needed
